Today, I went for a walk with a friend that I haven't seen for almost 3 years. The weather was so nice and she invited me over to her house after the walk. I have been to the house several times. Every time, there would be some new pieces of arts. The house is very 'French Country' which is very rare to find in our city. They did a lot of work in the garden in the last several years. Fruits, vegetables, herbs and 7 free run chicken! Now they can have everything organic from their back yard. It really reminds me the movie 'It is complicated'.
We talked about arts, furnitures, cooking receipts, kids and lives. Then, we had some left over 'Thanksgiving' pumpkin pie from yesterday. She also made herb and lavender tea. Of course, all the ingredients are from her backyard too. Everthing tasted so fresh and wonderful. We had good time!
